Tibly vs Framer
Framer gives you design control that nothing here matches. Tibly gives you a site you never have to open a design tool to keep current. Both are defensible. They suit different people.

The short version
Where each one is the better choice, stated plainly.
Choose Tibly when
Choose Tibly if you want the website handled: produced for you, edited by clicking the live page, with AI-visibility tracking and invoicing in the same subscription.
Choose Framer when
Choose Framer if design is a real priority and you or someone on your team can execute it. Framer has the best design and animation controls of any website builder, a solid CMS, and it produces beautiful, fast sites. If the site is your portfolio or your brand is the differentiator, use Framer.

Design is not what separates the recommended from the invisible: ChatGPT named just 1.2% of local brand locations in one 2026 study, against Gemini's 11% (SOCi, 2026). See the research
What is the honest trade here?
Design control against operating cost, and it is a real trade rather than a marketing framing. Framer will produce a better-looking site than Tibly in the hands of someone with design sense, and it is not close. The controls are genuinely excellent, the animation work is a category above what builders normally offer, and the output is fast. What you are accepting in return is that the site is a design artifact: it looks the way someone made it look, and it changes when someone with the same skill opens the canvas again. For a design studio that is nothing. For a plumbing company whose designer finished the project in April, it is the reason the site still says April.
Who is Framer actually built for?
Designers, and it does not particularly hide this. The interface assumes canvas fluency, layers, constraints, and breakpoints, and it rewards that fluency with control most builders do not offer. Startups with a designer on staff, agencies, portfolios, and product marketing sites are where it shines, and in those settings it is frequently the correct choice. The mismatch appears when a small business without design capacity picks Framer because the examples look incredible. The examples look incredible because designers made them. The tool does not supply the skill, and no tool does.
Which one gets you found?
Framer sites are technically sound and index normally, so this is not a rankings argument. The difference is measurement and follow-through. When a customer asks ChatGPT or Gemini for a business like yours, whether you get named depends on having pages that answer real questions plainly and details that corroborate across your reviews and listings. Framer has no view into whether that is happening, which is fair enough since it is a design tool. Tibly runs that scan daily, shows which questions you are missing, and turns them into pages. If you go with Framer, plan to pair it with something that closes that loop.
Can you have both?
In a sense, yes, and it is worth naming because it is a legitimate answer. Some businesses keep a designed Framer site and add separate tooling for visibility tracking and invoicing. That works and costs more, in subscriptions and in coordination. The case for a single platform is not that it is cheaper on the line item, it is that a site, the measurement of whether it is working, and the fix for what it is missing all live in one place, so the fix takes a click rather than a project. Whether that is worth giving up design control is a judgement only you can make about your own business.
Common questions
- Is Framer better than Tibly?
- For design control, yes, clearly. Framer has the strongest layout, typography, and animation tools of any website builder. Tibly is built for owners who want the site produced and kept current for them, with AI-visibility tracking and payments included, and who are not going to open a design canvas.
- Do I need design skills to use Framer?
- To get the results shown in Framer's examples, effectively yes. The interface assumes comfort with canvases, layers, and breakpoints, and the quality of the output tracks the skill of the person using it. Businesses without design capacity often find the tool more capable than they can take advantage of.
- Does Framer track AI search visibility?
- No. Framer is a design and site-building tool with no feature for monitoring whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews recommend your business. Pair it with a separate tool if you want that measurement.
- Can I move a Framer site to Tibly?
- Yes. Paste your Framer address and Tibly reads the live site, bringing across your copy, photos, services, and contact details along with your section structure as editable pieces. Expect some loss of fine design detail, which is the honest trade when moving off a design-led tool.
